Collaboration with Shinji Iwasaki, Naoki Kitagaki

A warehouse is typically used for temporary storage, and its role in architecture is often considered temporary as well. However, we aspire to see the building continue to be inhabited beyond its initial purpose.
In response to the homeowner’s current needs and considering the potential possibilities for the future, we designed a structure to solve the immediate need, while its foundation was conceived as a framework for the building’s long-term future.
